Okey dokey... never say "never", right?
I'll admit, I'm no fan of MySpace.. matter of fact, I have a real dislike for the whole cumbersome forum that is what is called "MySpace".
But hey.. I can get over those personal feelings if it works for biz, right?

I fired up a new MySpace account this afternoon. Here we go.
If you want to develop some new leads in your area... I strongly suggest you embrace these social networking sites. But that said, IMO, you have to put a geniune interest out there to the people you meet. I enjoy that part of it... but I just hate the slow messenging system on MySpace. blah!
Anyway... if you're going to do this... I also suggest you head on over to thetoolsmith.com and download the Easy Adder program there. The software guy over there is Paul.. and he's really got a good thing going with this software. It basically automates adding friends to your list.
The site I fired up tonight is for my Eyelash Extensions... and I'm going to add some Jafra content there, but the immediate thing I wanted to get was brides in my area and get them in my door with the eyelash work I do. (crazy... yeah... it's crazy). Anyway...
The software took about 45 minutes to send out 240 friend requests. Last I checked, about 20 of those were either accepted or refused.. and I had 10 new "friends" added to my list. Not bad for a couple of hours.
The trick to doing this (IMO) is to have sincere content on your site so it doesn't look like your advertising yourself right out of having people want to talk with you. Feel free to go see my MySpace page...
http://www.myspace.com/coloradolashes ... and see what you think.

Just so you know... I only use these accounts to add local clients. I'm kinda a stickler on that because I'm out to get 2,000 friends on my list and I need them to all be prospects for what I have to offer (in this case, they are come-into-my-office-local-people). There is another function of that program that allows you to send out comments to your list... and it does take quite a while to send out to your entire list. So it's not a good idea to have 100 or more people on there that are not candidates for what you have to offer.
Now, all of that said, sometime soon I will put up another identity that will gear itself to direct sales people and hopefully it will drive people back to this site and possibly get me a few decent recruits along the way. When I get that one going, all of you will be welcome to be on my list so you can see what I do with these MySpace accounts.
Oh well.. enough for now... go play, kids.

Tomorrow, I'm headed to see if I can do the same thing with Facebook. Paul (the software guy) has got a program for Facebook as well.
Let's get a decent discussion going on this... this is worthwhile, IMO.
Oh.. if you missed the post in the main site, there's a little mention of how this sort of work
netted me $3,500 in commissions back in March 2006. That was after starting the MySpace blitz just 3 weeks earlier (I started that account on Feb 8th that year!). So... I know this can work... it just takes some consistent growing every day and it can really pay off.
And lastly... I'm forever grateful to another direct selling friend in Minnesota that tipped me off to all of these incredible tools to work MySpace effectively. I met her through another internet forum back then.
So what I'm sayin... I have real faith in groups such as this one to really TRULY help us make terrific money.
Wishing you all abundance,
Sally
